Prize draw rules

How you enter

Every member of the Zucchinis Club is entered automatically. Joining the club is free, and that is the only requirement.

Taking part costs nothing. We never charge for an entry and none of our prices change because of the draw. You do not need to have eaten with us, booked a table or bought anything to be in it.

Who can enter

Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the United Kingdom and is a member of the club. Staff of Zucchinis Ristorante Italiano and their immediate families cannot enter.

The prize

The prize changes from one draw to the next — dinner for two, a dessert for the table, a bottle of something at Christmas. We say what it is when we open each draw, and we say it again when we announce the winner.

Whatever it is, there is no cash alternative and it cannot be transferred or exchanged. Prizes are for one visit, booked with us in advance and taken within three months of winning, subject to availability, and they do not cover extra guests, additional drinks or service.

Where a prize includes alcohol you will need to be over 18 to be served it, as you would with anything else on our list. We can always swap it for something else.

How the winner is chosen

One winner is drawn at random from everyone in the club. The choice is made by the computer, not by a person picking a name, and it is recorded the moment it happens — the date, how many members were in the draw and who came out. We usually film it.

If you win, you sit out the draws for the next 8 weeks, so that the same name does not keep coming up. After that you are back in automatically, with nothing to do.

Our decision is final and we cannot enter into correspondence about it.

We will contact the winner using the email address or phone number they gave us when they joined. If we cannot reach a winner within fourteen days, we will draw again.

Announcing the winner

After each draw we announce the winner by name on our social media pages, and we keep a record of every draw — the date, how many members were in it and who came out. We do that because a draw nobody can check is worth nothing: anyone taking part should be able to see that a real person won a real prize. Ask us for that record any time and we will show you.

If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will keep your name out of it — you still get your prize, and taking part in any publicity is never a condition of receiving it. We will still hold the full details of every winner and provide them to the advertising regulator if we are ever asked.

We may also ask whether we can share a photograph from your visit. That is a question, not a requirement, and no is a perfectly good answer.

Leaving the draw

Leaving the club takes you out of the draw. Tell us any time — reply to any email we send you, ring us on 01924 473970, or just say so next time you are in.

The boring bits

The promoter is Zucchinis Ristorante Italiano, 260 Bradford Road, Batley WF17 6JD. We may change these rules or withdraw the draw if we have to, and if we do we will say so on this page. These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales.
